Reporter Gets Slapped After Trying to Kiss Will Smith on the Lips
Will Smith received a rather unpleasant surprise today while on the Red Carpet at the Moscow Premiere of "Men in Black 3." Apparently, press customs in Eastern Europe are different, and one male Ukrainian reporter whose shtick it is to kiss celebrities thought it would be a good idea to try to lay one on Smith. Conflict ensued: As you can pl

Now, the higher educational facility, which has been catching flack of late for perceived anti-Catholic bias (which is ironic, because its a Catholic university), may be at the center of an epic "legal" battle. In an intriguing set of circumstances, William Peter Blatty, the Academy Award Wi

A Kentucky businessman earned the term "Summer Santa" when he bought out all the merchandise in a closing Kmart store -- and donated it all to charity. Rankin Paynter, who runs a jewelery exchange in Winchester, told WLEX-TV he was at the superstore two days before it was set to shut its doors. Wondering what was going to happen with everyth

Mich. County Worker Finds Loaded Gun on the Job, Turns it Over to Police — And Gets Fired
Detroit police told groundskeeper John Chevilott he did the right thing by turning over a loaded handgun he found on the job earlier this month. His Wayne County employers had a different opinion: They fired him for it. Chevilott and his crew were mowing county property in Westland, Mich. when they came across a snubnosed revolver on the

A friend of Gods?
Do you have any good friends? Are you a good friend to someone else? Having friends can actually improve women’s health, according to a UCLA study done by scientists Laura Cousin Klein and Shelly Taylor. Their research found that women under stress experience at least temporary relief by bonding with her pals, which releases the [...

How the Supremes betrayed the states
The progressives of today may not be communists, or even socialists – depending on one’s definition – but they are indeed statists. They look to the government and the power of the masses to assure equality of results among the citizenry instead of providing equality of opportunity as a true laissez-faire society would. ~ Joe Charlebois In [.

Is demography destiny?
Now that census data show – for the first time in American history – the number of white babies born exceeded by the number of babies born to non-white minorities, the question is: What does this mean for the future of American society? Politically, it means that minorities who traditionally vote overwhelmingly for Democrats can ensure [...

Black Americas Sunday-Tuesday gap
Perhaps history will show that the first black president’s biggest contribution to black America was forcing this community to come to terms with its own identity and priorities. By formalizing his support of same-sex marriage, President Obama has pushed blacks to decide what is most important to them. The biblical message they hear [...

Joe Wilson was right
In September of 2009, Rep. Joe Wilson interrupted a speech to Congress by President Obama with the words, “You lie!” At the time Wilson was widely criticized for his impolite violation of decorum, but now we know he was our Paul Revere for Obama’s barrage of lies. Obama’s lies about his health-care proposal became famous [.

For those of you who have been following the increasingly laughable dust-up over Elizabeth Warrens shoddy academic performance and dubious Cherokee Heritage, the story has just gotten both more absurd and more serious. Okay, okay, we promise we’ll take a break from Elizabeth Warren stories -- but we really have to do this one last report. One of the weaker proofs she has offered is the fact that her cousin Can
